He conducts research in Solid Physics, including, in particular Nanomaterials and Magnetism. His work focuses on manufacturing and characterization of magnetic nanostructures for possible applications in different areas, such as detection and decontamination of heavy metals, magnetic sensors and recording, and nanobiomedicine.
